A Different Kind of Consulting Relationship
We focus on clarity over volume, precision over generality, and relationships over retainers.
Candid Counsel
We tell you what we observe, not what's most comfortable to hear. Honest input at the right moment has real value.
Defined Scope
Every engagement has a clear start, finish, and deliverable. No open-ended arrangements that accumulate without direction.
Full Confidentiality
Your internal conversations, strategic concerns, and organizational details remain within our engagement — always.
Alberta-Rooted
We understand the regional business environment — from Calgary's energy sector to its professional services community.
Senior-Led Work
Your engagement is led by experienced consultants, not delegated to junior staff. The people you meet are the people doing the work.
Tangible Outputs
Each engagement concludes with a written document you can act on — not a slide deck filed away after the first meeting.
A Conversation Costs Nothing
Reach out to discuss your situation and whether one of our engagements is the right fit. No pressure, no hard sell — just a direct conversation about what you're facing.

Frequently Asked
What kinds of organizations does chinookisww Strategy typically work with?
We work primarily with small and mid-sized businesses in Alberta — including family enterprises, professional practices, and founder-led companies. Our engagements are well-suited to organizations with 10 to 250 employees where senior leadership is directly involved in decision-making.
How do your engagements begin?
We start with a brief introductory call — usually 30 to 45 minutes — to understand your situation and discuss whether one of our services is a meaningful fit. If both sides agree it is, we proceed to a written engagement letter that outlines scope, timeline, deliverables, and fees.
Are engagements conducted in-person or remotely?
Most of our work is conducted in a combination of formats. Stakeholder interviews and working sessions can be held in person at our Calgary office or at your premises, as well as via secure video conference. Retreat facilitation is always conducted in person, at a venue of your choosing.
What is your pricing structure?
Our services are priced as flat-fee engagements: Succession & Transition Planning at CAD $235, Competitive Positioning Review at CAD $480, and Strategy Retreat Facilitation at CAD $910. This structure allows you to know your commitment upfront, without variable billing. Payment terms are outlined in the engagement letter.
How is client confidentiality protected?
Confidentiality is foundational to how we operate. A mutual non-disclosure agreement is included in every engagement letter. We do not reference client names, share competitive data, or discuss engagement details in any external context without explicit written permission.
How long does it typically take to see results?
Each engagement has a defined timeline — four to five weeks for analytical and planning work, two days for retreat facilitation. The deliverable you receive at the end of each engagement is designed to be actionable immediately. Broader organizational change, of course, unfolds over a longer period and is ultimately shaped by your team's follow-through.
